When is the Rapture?
When will the Rapture happen? It’s one of the most debated topics in the body of believers, but it should not divide us.
In this teaching, we take a Scripture-first approach to the timing of the Rapture by looking closely at Matthew 24 and 1 Thessalonians 4 – letting Jesus Himself define the timeline of His return.
Rather than relying on assumptions or tradition, we walk through what the Bible actually says:
• What does “caught up” (harpazō) really mean?
• Are believers present during tribulation?
• When does Jesus say He gathers His people?
• Is the Rapture separate from His return – or the same event?
Jesus gives a clear answer:
“Immediately after the tribulation of those days…” (Matthew 24:29)
This teaching explores:
– The meaning of the Rapture (“caught up”)
– The Olivet Discourse and end-time signs
– The gathering of the elect
– The difference between tribulation and God’s wrath
– Why this truth calls us to endurance, not fear
Our hope is not in escaping hardship… It’s in the return of the King.
