Day 4: October 17 - Rhodes, Greece
You start your private excursion with a beautiful thirty-mile drive along the east coast of Rhodes. You'll pass through little picturesque villages and enjoy many dramatic views of the sea and the beautiful landscape of orange and lemon groves, vineyards, and olive trees. Lindos was an ancient Doric town and rose to power hundreds of years before the birth of Christ, when the population was twenty times larger than it is today. In medieval times, it was the island's second most important center, after the town of Rhodes itself. It is no wonder that the ancient Greeks, the Byzantines, and the Knights of St. John all made good use of the colossal Acropolis, which dominates the little town and the curving bay below. In the centre of the village lives and breathes the Church of the Virgin Mary (Panagia) of Lindos, with frescoes from the 15th century.

You will walk up to the summit, or, subject to availability, you may hire a donkey to take you most of the way, to discover the magnificent remains of past civilizations. Located at the summit, you will find the 4th century B.C. Doric Temple of Athena Lindia, a double-winged portico, a Byzantine church and the fortifications of the Knights, including the remains of the Governor's quarters. Your licensed guide will explain these important sites during your visit. The view is truly panoramic, and at the very foot of the Acropolis is St. Paul's Bay, where the Apostle is said to have sought shelter during a storm. Below the Acropolis are the clustered, old whitewashed houses and narrow streets of this most delightful village. A haunt of artists and writers for many years, it also contains many tiny shops full of attractive souvenirs.

Next, you travel back to the city where you will enter the Old Town from D’Amboise Gate, which is the closest point to the rebuilt Grand Master's Palace. This palace was constructed as a reflection of the Papal Palace in Avignon, France. It was built to serve as a fortress in times of war, a peacetime residence for the Grand Master, and a meeting place for senior knights. After visiting the Palace, you enjoy a short walking tour with your guide, and then you will have free time before you are transferred back to the pier, or you may choose to stay in the old town to explore further and return to the ship on your own.
Day 5: October 18 – Kusadasi, Turkey
Ephesus was one of the Seven Churches of Revelation and was once a bustling port town with wide, colonnade-bordered streets and a population of 250,000. Spectacular excavations in the last 110 years have revealed much of the glory of ancient Ephesus, including the huge Agora and the Library. Explore the ancient site virtually at the Ephesus Experience Museum, where you will see life in Paul’s time. We will view the terrace houses, also known as "the house of the rich," which offer a true impression of ancient life. The ancient world once declared the Temple of Artemis one of the Seven Wonders of the World, but today only a single column remains to mark its site. After enjoying Ephesus, you will embark on another Turkish experience at the Carpet factory for a local lunch and a presentation.
Day 6: October 19 – Santorini, Greece
Dock in Santorini today, one of the most beautiful of the Greek islands, where picturesque, whitewashed villages topped with brilliant blue domes stand in stark contrast to the sheer-drop cliffs overlooking the Aegean Sea. The island itself perches on the edges of a volcano whose eruption 3,500 years ago is thought to have led to the collapse of the Minoan civilization. Explore the island on your own or join one of the optional excursions available for purchase on board.  Shore excursions are not included today and can be purchased directly from Celebrity.
Day 7: October 20 – Mykonos, Greece: Morning Devotion with Dave & Ilona (Subject to change)
Arrive today at the world-famous Greek Island of Mykonos, where gleaming whitewashed buildings seem to climb atop each other to reach the azure sky. Admire its many hills dotted with iconic windmills. Explore the island on your own or join one of the optional excursions available for purchase on board.
Shore excursions are not included today and can be purchased directly from Celebrity.
Day 8: October 21 – Thessaloniki, Philippi & Kavala Greece
Follow the route of the Via Egnatia and visit, like Paul and his companion, the area of Amphipolis, to see the famous funerary Lion of Amphipolis, and the site of Philippi. There, you visit the Baptistery of Lydia near the river, where Paul baptized Lydia. She was the first convert of Paul on European soil, and the jailer followed. Also, visit the ruins of the Forum of Philippi, the Christian Basilicas, the “Prison of Paul”, and the Theater. Drive to Kavala (Neapolis), a picturesque port, and see the Byzantine Castle and the Roman Aqueduct. On the way back to the ship, drive by Thessaloniki, "The Queen of the North," Where Paul was accused of turning the world upside down with his preaching of Christ.
Day 9: October 22 – At Sea: Morning teachings Session (subject to change)
Enjoy your day at sea with morning teachings session.
Day 10: October 23 – Athens & Corinth, Greece
Disembark the Celebrity Infinity this morning. Discover the rich architectural splendor of the ancient city of Athens as you explore the world-renowned Acropolis, the Propylaea, the Parthenon, and the Erechtheum. Stand on Mars Hill as the apostle Paul did when he proclaimed, "I found an altar with this inscription, TO THE UNKNOWN GOD.  Whom therefore ye ignorantly worship, him declare I unto you". Travel to the city of Corinth, where the apostle Paul met fellow tentmakers Aquila and Priscilla and received a vision from the Lord saying, "I am with thee, and no man shall set on thee to hurt thee: for I have much people in this city".  As Paul spoke, Crispus (the chief ruler of the synagogue) and many others believed and were baptized, establishing the church at Corinth, to whom Paul later wrote his two epistles.  Discover the Archaeological Museum, Market Place, and Temples.  As you walk among the ruins, stand on the Bema, where the apostle Paul stood before Gallio to face charges brought against him by the Jews.
Day 11: October 24 – Return to the USA
Return to the USA.
